The fees should not be the reason you start behind.
Every sponsor at NEXA can offer you the same compensation plan, because it is corporate. Very few can change what you pay to get started, because that comes out of the sponsor's own pocket. Here is what I do about it, and why.
Onboarding costs at NEXA are modest for an experienced producer - a one-time background check and per-state sponsorship fee, then a monthly technology and LOS cost. New loan officers also carry a mentorship ramp on their first six funded loans. I offset the upfront costs for the loan officers I sponsor, and I remove the marketing-stack cost by setting up the Freedom Machine with you at no charge.
Your specific offset terms are confirmed in writing on your call - and they are set by me, not by NEXA Mortgage, LLC.
What actually costs you money when you join.
1. The upfront fees
Background and credit check, plus license sponsorship per state you activate. Small, one-time, and it lands before you have closed anything.
2. The monthly stack
The technology fee and your LOS. This is the number most people underestimate.
3. The pipeline gap
The biggest cost is not a fee at all. It is the weeks you spend without a working pipeline while paying the monthly stack.
How I take each one off your plate.
- The upfront fees. I offset the onboarding costs for the loan officers I sponsor so you are not paying to get to the starting line. You get the specific terms on your call, in writing.
- The monthly stack. NEXA is building more of its own technology through the Bevri AI partnership. That is rolling out, not here today, so I will not sell it to you as if it were. What I can do is cover where I can in the months before it arrives.
- The pipeline gap - this is the one that matters. I set up the Freedom Machine with you: attraction, AI follow-up and leverage, plus a Certified RELO track for dual-licensed agents and loan officers. Shortening the gap between joining and closing by a few weeks is worth more than every fee combined.
- The ramp, if you are new. The mentorship ramp is required by NEXA and I cannot waive it. What I can do is get you through it fast - six loans correctly structured is a much shorter road than six loans done badly.
What I can and cannot do.
A sponsor page that oversells the help is worse than one that offers none.
What I can do
Offset your upfront onboarding costs. Set up the Freedom Machine with you at no charge. Work your first files personally. Connect you to loan officers I sponsor. Keep a same-day response commitment.
What I cannot do
Waive NEXA's corporate fees - those are set by NEXA Mortgage, LLC. Waive the new-loan-officer mentorship ramp. Promise the technology fee reaches zero on a date. Cover your ongoing operating costs permanently.
Anyone who tells you they can waive corporate fees is either misinformed or funding it themselves without saying so. Ask which one.
Fees are small. Velocity is not.
Saving a few hundred dollars of onboarding fees is a rounding error next to closing your first loan weeks earlier. A single $400,000 loan at 275 bps is $11,000 of revenue - more than a decade of a typical monthly technology fee.
So the honest pitch is not "I pay your fees." It is "I take the fees off the table where I can, and then I go after the thing that actually costs you money - the time between joining and your first funded loan." That is what the Freedom Machine is for.
